While this smoothie sounds gross it taste wonderful. It is a meal replacement that is full of fiber and vitamins.
Dairy free, sugar free, gluten free
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup raw almonds (We get them from Costco)
- 1-2 celery stalks
- 1/2 banana (frozen) (When bananas get too ripe peel, cut in 1/2 and put in a zip lock in the freezer)
- 1 cup spinach (frozen) (Trader Joe's)
- 1 tsp psyllium husks (Trader Joe's)
- 1-1 1/2 cups of organic berries and fruit (frozen is convenient) (Costco)
- Stevia for sweetness to taste (Trader Joe's)
- Vanilla extract (optional)
- 2 Tbs Whey Cool (Dr Ekberg's Office Wellness For Life)
Directions
- Blend all ingredients except the Whey Cool
- Hand mix the Whey Cool into other ingredients
