Dr. Sten Ekberg constantly stays on top of what is going on in health by constantly learning what the latest technologies and understand of health today. For example Dr. Sten Ekberg took over 85 hours of continuing education in 2015, where most chiropractors take only the minimum 20 hours of required continuing educational per year to keep their licence.
Dr. Sten Ekberg has been freeing people from pain in the clinic in Cumming, GA. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Ekberg is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of patients. Dr. Ekberg believes that the body is an eco-system with a built-in tendency for homeostasis and health. An eco-system cannot be forced into "compliance" which explains why drugs are never a long-term solution. The body will heal itself if the interference is removed and the deficiency is corrected.
Dr. Ekberg was in the Army and is a former NCAA, div 1 champion and Olympic decathlete in track and field who has always been interested in finding better ways to do things. After his athletic career he has devoted the last 25+ years to finding out how to get closer to the potential of the body and mind. He draws on his vast experience in health and performance to help others enhance their health.

This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function.
